Fishing Tours – What to Expect

Prepare and Plan your BC Fishing Tour.

Spring & Summer Fishing Tours

WHAT TO EXPECT

April Kicks off the start of the Eulachan migration into the Fraser River. This is the first plentiful food source that triggers these Sturgeon to start eating heavily on High tides. Catching 20+ Sturgeon a day is not uncommon during this migration. May/June can be hit or miss depending on our Freshet. High water creates challenging fishing conditions. (Lasting only 2-3 weeks max) If you’re planning your fishing tour in the spring and summer months, you can expect mostly warm sunny days with temperatures ranging from 20C – 30C+. With that being said, being in the valley, sudden weather changes can happen at any time. It is always best to be prepared and have a sweater or raincoat packed on your Fraser River fishing charter.
